Nathan Fowkes' Portrait Charcoal Show at LAAFA

LAAFA is proud to showcase a selection of Nathan Fowkes’ Charcoal portraitures. Charcoal portraiture has been of special interest to Nathan in his personal work; this show showcases selections of his portraits from 2001 to the present. Nathan is currently a visual development artist at DreamWorks with screen credits including The Prince of Egypt , Spirit, Shark Tale, several projects within the Shrek Universe and the recently released How to Train Your Dragon. He is currently teaching exclusively at LAAFA. Nathan is also teaching a 1-Day Portrait Drawing in Charcoal Workshop May 1st. This workshop will be an instructive overview of the materials, techniques, and concepts for succesfull portrait drawing.
